A discussion meeting was held at the District Government Public Library, Jamalpur on the occasion of the celebration of the Bengali New Year 1432. 
A discussion meeting was held at the District Government Public Library, Jamalpur on the occasion of the celebration of the Bengali New Year 1432 today on 13.04.2025.The discussion meeting was presided over by Mr. Ramendra Sarkar Sumit, Assistant Librarian, District Government Public Library, Jamalpur. Minhajul Abedin Tashar, Assistant Teacher of Jamalpur District School, was present as the chief guest and discussed the meeting as the special guest Abdur Rahman Mia, Mobile Library Officer, Jamalpur District Mobile Unit Officer. The speaker discussed the traditions, creations, and culture of the Bengali New Year. Tashar Minhajul Abedin said, introduce your children to the culture of Bengal and make them proud Bengalis. 
Bengali New Year is not celebrated only in Bangladesh, Bengalis all over the world celebrate this day with appropriate festivities. 
Finally, the chairman thanked everyone and concluded the discussion.
